6. ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES
Personal precautions: Before cleaning any spill or leak, individuals involved in spill cleanup must wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment. Environmental precautions: Dispose of properly in accordance with local, state and federal regulations. Methods for cleaning up For small spills (e.g., < 5 Litres), 1. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (e.g., goggles, gloves). 2. Maximize ventilation (open doors and windows). 3. Remove spilled material with absorbent material and place into appropriate closed container(s) 4. Dispose of properly in accordance with local, state and federal regulations. 5. Wash all affected areas and outside of container with plenty of warm water and soap. 6. Remove any contaminated clothing and wash thoroughly before reuse. For spills ≥ 5 Litres, 1.
