Drug Listing ADENOSINE EMT-I, EMT-P (ADENOCARD) Medical Command for Pediatrics
This drug will be given after carotid sinus massage on patients under 50 years old, or after Valsalva maneuver on patients 50 and older.
INDICATIONS CONTRAINDICATIONS
Atrial fibrillation, atrial flutter or ventricular arrhythmias including ventricular tachycardia, 2nd and 3rddegree heart blocks, or sick sinus syndrome
SIDE EFFECTS
Bradycardia, hypotension, facial flushing,transient dyspnea, chest pressure, headache, nausea, or bronchospasm Expect an asystolic/bradycardic period. HOW SUPPLIED QUANTITY DOSAGE AND ROUTE
