ISRAEL Discovery Tour 2010 This February I was fortunate to attend a Tourism Convention in Tel Aviv, and also to explore a bit of the country. During this time I discovered that Israel is truly a wonderful destination. It actually reminded me of California, except in much smaller size and, of course, with more history. Israel was more than just a trip for me – it was surely an experience on more than one level! I would love to show you what fascinated me about this country, so please come and join me on a 10 day/ 9 nights discovery and pilgrimage tour. Day 1 - Monday, October 18: Arrival Arrival at Tel Aviv international airport, meeting and assistance by Amiel Representative, transfer to Tel Aviv. Overnight: Jerusalem Day 5 – Friday, October 22: Old City of Jerusalem Mount of Olives, Garden of Gethsemane, Church of All Nations, Mount Zion; King David’s tomb, Last Supper Room, Old City, Southern Wall steps (Davidson Centre), The Jewish Quarter, Western Wall, Western Wall Tunnel, Pool of Bethesda, Ecce Homo, Stations of the Cross Overnight: Jerusalem Day 6 – Saturday, October 23: The Sea of Galilee Capernaum, Mt. Beatitudes, boat ride, Nazareth, Yardenit (optional and time permitting) Overnight: Jerusalem Day 7 – Sunday, October 24: New City & Mt. Zion Yad Vashem - Holocaust Memorial Museum, Israel Museum - Shrine of the Book and the Model, Bethlehem. Overnight: Jerusalem
