LIST OF APPROVED DEROGATIONS FOR USE OF ‘HIGHLY HAZARDOUS’ PESTICIDES

This addendum lists pesticides which are considered by FSC to be highly hazardous, and are normally prohibited in FSC certified forests, but which have been temporarily approved for use under the defined circumstances. Pesticide derogations are individually approved by the FSC Board of Directors’ Pesticides Committee, the derogations listed below are not valid for a national use. The rationale for establishing such a list is to provide an overview of derogations used at global level.
