Children can enroll for an eight-week programme that will be repeated each term. Groups will be held once a week on a Wednesday afternoon at Reddam House – Atlantic Seaboard. In WHAT FORMAT will the programme be presented? Each group session will be one hour long and will consist out of an ice-breaker, a lesson and a physical, craft or interactive activity. Groups will be presented in a fun and lively fashion and session notes and one homework activity will be sent home for parents to reinforce the learned material during the week. WHO CAN ATTEND the programme? Grade 1, 2, 3 and 4 children from Reddam House and surrounding schools can attend the programme. A maximum of 8 participants can enroll each term. Reddam children will receive preference. WHO WILL PRESENT the programme? The groups will be facilitated by Marilize Kruger and Nancy Raubenheimer (paediatric occupational therapists) who are passionate about empowering children with functional life-skills for joyous living. What is the COST? The cost is R600 per term, which includes all materials, session notes and verbal feedback to parents at the end of the programme. Payments can be made in cash, cheque or via EFT.
