3: HAZARDS IDENTIFICATION
Flammable.
Harmful by inhalation.
Irritating to eyes and skin.
4: FIRST AID MEASURES
Irrigate immediately with copious quantities of water for several minutes Obtain medical attentionurgently.
Wash immediately with soap and water or suitable skin cleanser. Remove contaminated clothingimmediately.
Remove from exposure, rest and keep warm and obtain medical attention urgently.
Wash out mouth with water. Do NOT induce vomiting. Obtain medical attention. Beware of aspiration ifvomiting occurs.
5: FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES
Suitable Extinguishing Media:
Carbon dioxide, powder, foam or water fog - Do not use water jets Toxic fumes. For further information see Section 10.
6: ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES
Immediately issue NO SMOKING and NO NAKED FLAMES warnings. Wear selfcontained breathing apparatus and protective clothing.
Prevent entry into drains, sewers and water courses Soak up with inert absorbent or contain and remove by best available means.
Prior consent must be obtained from the local Water Company if discharged tosewer.

7: HANDLING AND STORAGE
Do not use near sources of ignition. Avoid breathing fumes. Avoid skin and eye contact. In case ofinsufficient ventilation, wear suitable respiratory equipment.
Store in a cool place away from sources of heat and out of direct sunlight to avoid pressure build up.
Store in conformity with local fire regulations.
8: EXPOSURE CONTROLS/PERSONAL PROTECTION
Use only in well ventilated areas. Ensure adequate ventilation, especially inconfined areas.
In case of insufficient ventilation wear suitable respiratory equipment.
Impervious gloves (eg nitrile or neoprene). Safety glasses.
9: PHYSICAL AND CHEMICAL PROPERTIES
Lower explosive limit (LEL): 1.1%, Upper explosive limit (UEL): 6.1% 10: STABILITY AND REACTIVITY
Temperatures (ºC) above 35°C. Direct sunlight.
Strong oxidising agents. Strong acids. Strong alkalis Thermal decomposition:- Toxic fumes. Carbon monoxide.
11: TOXICOLOGICAL INFORMATION
The following toxicological assessment is based on a knowledge of the toxicity of the product's components.
Oral LD50, rat 5000mg/kg. Classified as an eye and skin irritant.
Health Effects
On Eyes:
Irritating and may injure eye tissue if not removed promptly. Vapour may cause irritation.
By Inhalation: Harmful by inhalation. Vapours may cause headaches, dizziness and central nervous system Severe irritation and symptoms similar to inhalation.

May cause sensitisation by skin contact.

Wash thoroughly with soap and water or suitable skin cleanser as soon as possible.
Remove from exposure - unlikely to occur.
Wash out mouth with water. Do NOT induce vomiting. Obtain medical attention.
