Mail Order (Drug) - Prescriptions filled through the Mail Order Option. Patient can receive a longer supply of medication.
Mail Order Percent - Total number of mail service prescriptions divided by the number of prescriptions.
Member Liability - Amounts paid by the member through copays, coinsurance and deductibles.
Member Liability Percent - Member liability paid amount divided by total cost of prescriptions.
Multi Source Brand Drug (MS) - Brand medications with generic equivalents.
Number of Rxs PMPY (per member per year) - Total number of prescriptions divided by average membership. For time periods that are less than one year, an annualization factor is utilized.
Paid Amount - Total dollars paid by insurer in accordance with the account's benefit plan.
Paid Amount PEPM (per employee per month) - Paid amount divided by the average employees per month divided by the number of months in the reporting period.
Paid Amount per Day - Total paid amount divided by the days supply.
Paid Amount per Rx - Total paid amount divided by the number of prescriptions.
Paid Amount PMPM (per member per month) - Paid amount divided by the average members per month divided by the number of months in the reporting period.
Percent off AWP - Reduction of cost between AWP and Ingredient Cost. Percent off AWP equals (Average Wholesale Price minus Ingredient Cost) divided by Average Wholesale Price.
Paid Percent - Paid amount divided by total cost of prescriptions.
Preferred - List of medications that have been reviewed and selected by a committee of practicing physicians and clinical pharmacists for their safety, quality and effectiveness.
Retail (Drug) - Prescriptions filled at a pharmacy.
Single Source Brand Drug (SS) - A branded product from one manufacturer with no generic equivalent.
Therapeutic Class - Grouping of medications that are used to treat the same or similar conditions.
Total Cost of Prescriptions - Ingredient cost plus dispensing fees plus sales tax.

November 9, 2007 Community Meetings: The Franklin County Board of Education and Board of County Commissioners have enjoyed success at four community meetings. There are two re- maining in the series, with the next one taking place this coming Tuesday at Louisburg High School at 7 p.m. in the new cafeteria. Franklinton High School will host the final meeting on November 15th at 7 p.m.
