STATE OF WISCONSIN VILLAGE OF HALES CORNERS MILWAUKEE COUNTY __________________________________________________________________________ WHEREAS, Section 13.09 of the Municipal Code provides for fees for ambulance WHEREAS, the Committee of the Whole of the Village Board of Trustees has determined that the Village should adopt Advanced Life Support (ALS) rates recommended by the Milwaukee County Association of Fire Chiefs and supported by the Intergovernmental Cooperation Council of Milwaukee County (ICC) on June 10, 2013 to support the countywide paramedic program. NOW, THEREFORE, the Village Board of the Village of Hales Corners, Wisconsin, Section 13.09 of the Municipal Code of Hales Corners, Wisconsin is hereby repealed and recreated as follows: "13.09 AMBULANCE FEE. The Village Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to collect fees for ambulance services performed by the rescue squad of the Fire Department as follows:
Basic Life Support (BLS) Charges:

BLS Run Charges:
$425.00 - Residents of the Village of Hales Corners $525.00 - Non-residents of the Village of Hales Corners BLS Support Disposables:
$ 75.00 - Oxygen Administration $ 50.00 - Supplies BLS Support Mileage:

Advanced Life Support (ALS) Charges:

ALS Run Charges: $128.00– ALS service and/or treatment without transport (Resident)
$175.00– ALS service and/or treatment without transport (Non- Resident) $128.00– ALS service and invasive treatment without transport (Resident) $180.00– ALS service and invasive treatment without transport (Non- Resident) $678.00 – ALS service with transport, level ALS 1 (Resident) $801.00 – ALS service with transport, level ALS 1 (Non-Resident) $781.00– ALS service with transport, level ALS 2 (Resident) $924.00– ALS service with transport, level ALS 2 (Non-Resident) ALS Services and Procedures:

$ 33.00 – Group-1 (Albuterol, Amioderone [30 mg], Atropine, Benadryl, Hebarin Sodium by IV, Lasix, Lidocane, Ativan, Versed, Sodium Normal Saline, Solumedrol [up to 40 mg], Terbutaline, Diazepam, Dextrose 50%, Nitor Spray SL, Normal Saline [capped], D50 D5w, Aspirin) $ 38.00 – Group-2 (Calcium Chloride, Epinephrine [IM or IV, not by Epi-pen], Dopamine, Lidocaine, Sodium bicarbonate) $ 49.00 - Group-3 (Morphine, Narcan, Normal Saline, Fentanyl) All monies received shall represent reimbursement to the Village and shall be paid into the Village general fund as part of the general Village revenue." ORDINANCE NO. 13 – 4 Page 3 SECTION 2: The terms and provisions of this ordinance are severable. Should any term or provision of this ordinance be found to be invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining terms and provisions shall remain in full force and effect. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in contravention to this ordinance are hereby repealed. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage and publication. PASSED AND ADOPTED this 10th day of June, 2013.
